See about not using "contrib and non-free" on The Perfect Server

Talking about Debian's philosophy I have the following doubt:

In the tutorial The Perfect Server - Debian 10 with Apache I see that all software can be installed without adding the "contrib non-free" repositories.

The only package that cannot be installed is unrar.

I would like to know if avoiding adding "contrib non-free" repositories and not installing unrar would seriously affect the server?

    Thank you

If you do not need to unpack .rar archives, you do not need unrar. To just avoid using non-free, install unrar-free instead of unrar.
I thought only Richard M. Stallman wanted to avoid non-free, but if there are two persons in the world to do that then I guess it is worth having a separate non-free repository for Debian.

Thanks for answering my question. About Richard M. Stallman is a good score, but you are right, it is not necessary to be so extreme.
