Hi folks, I'm prepared building a server providing following functions; 1) free web hosting on Internet 2) free webmail service on Internet 3) as database and file server serving LAN At the beginning Xfce4 will be run as desktop which is considered necessary to run web browser for searching technical documents on Internet. Text browser is not so convenient, in my personal opinion. I ran elinks, etc. before. After finishing fine tuning the server X will be removed. Then a workstation will be connected to the server replacing its job. CentOS will be the platform. What will be the basic packages needed? Please provide some guidance. TIA B.R. satimis
