self-signed certificates sites

I have been using ISPConfig for a few years, and I’ve always been able to configure sites with SSL using self-signed certificates without any issues. However, in recent installations (using Debian 12), I noticed that in the latest version, when I enable SSL without Let's Encrypt, the self-signed SSL certificate doesn’t get configured properly, the site goes HTTP only (port 80).

I’d like to know: has there been any change in this behavior in the recent versions of ISPConfig? How can I configure the site to use only a self-signed certificate without relying on Let's Encrypt?

It’s worth mentioning that when I use Let's Encrypt, everything works perfectly. However, in this specific case, I need the site to be configured with a self-signed certificate to work correctly with Cloudflare.

In my previous experiences, I’ve always used RHEL-based distributions with ISPConfig and never encountered this issue. Could this be related to the operating system or the installation environment?

I appreciate any advice or tips in advance!

    No.

In the same way, it has been done for 10+ years in ISPConfig. Enable SSL checkbox on the first tab, then go to SSL tab, enter the cert details, select create certificate in action field and press save.

It is likely related to an installation issue but nothing specific to an OS, as this function works fine on any supported OS.

See chapter 5 in the read before posting post on how to find out what#s wrong with your system:

maybe you disabled exec functions in cli php ini or something similar.

It was solved setting the cert details in the SSL tab... I don't know why in my other installations this wasn´t necessary, or maybe the cert information was fixed in the forms... anyway, thank you have a nice rest of week. CASE CLOSED.
