Self Signed SSL

We had a multi-server setup but reverted to using a single server setup for testing.

So far everything is going well, but we have a snag. We've setup a customer and a website (no quotas, limits etc.). We have created a Self Signed SSL for testing and saved it on the site. Also, we are aware of the notifications etc., but this is for testing migrating sites from a different panel.

When we do so, we get no SSL at all (not even the "site is unsafe" msg). We know that the ssl is not activated on the site as it is a Wordpress site that requires ssl and of course it won't load.

We just want to use a cert for testing not production. We can do that with LE.

We followed the steps as outlined on namecheap "... 10154 33 installing-an-ssl-certificate-on-ispconfig"

Did we miss something or just doing this wrong?

    Thanks all.

If domain name of the website points to the old server, you can not get LE certificate for the new test system.
You should be able to do the self signed certificate, though. In what way is it not working?
