Hi, I'm having problem after upgrade ISPC with "Send Copy To" in e-mail config. I've found that accounts that already have that option enabled/configured have link .sieve>ispconfig.sieve created. Every account I turn that option after upgrade don't create such link and Send function doesn't work. Anyone familiar with that problem? Just add that manualy copied file and created link from working account disappear after I SAVE changes in account... Maby there's a way to keep manual changes in postfix/dovecot (like files in other programs i.e. sudoers.d, apt.d that stays after update configuration) Thanks in advance...
3.2 has an option to forward during delivery (ie. via sieve); it forwards in postfix if that is off. If forwarding in postfix isn't working, check if you have any conf-custom templates you need to update, and reconfigure services with the installer again. Also check for errors in your mail log, as some systems are not applying the sql updates correctly.
Thanks, What I did was install fresh 3.2 on other machine and sieve doesn't work either. Correct me if I'm wrong - does ISPC 3.2 stopped using sieve "method"? Checking forward during delivery doesn't solve the problem. I have to say that during update ISPC I DIDN'T updated Postfix config since I have my own modifications (i.e. spamhouse checking, own policy) and I'm afraid that update would destroy it. If so - as I asked last message - is there a chance to keep my modifications in postfix? Thanks..
You have to reconfigure all services as we have changed several big things in the config files. If you configured RBLs through the UI, they will stay in place. If you created a spampolicy in the UI, it will stay in place. You have to compare your local file and the new file and see what you would eventually lose. Then do the update and eventually change the config back, with clear comments what you change and why so it's easy in the future.
Hi. I did find the differences... it causes two questions... 1. I have Debian 9 installed and did upgrade ISPC to 3.2 (from 3.1.15) without change config 2. I have to upgrade to Debian 10 and I have question which "path" would be right/best/safe a) re-update ISPC with changing postfix/dovecot configs and then upgrade to Debian10 b) upgrade to Debian 10 and then re-update ISPC Thanks in advance...
If you want to upgrade to Debian 10, make sure you follow the perfect server guide for debian 10 to install the needed dependencies and change config if necessary. After doing the upgrade to debian, update your ISPConfig installation and reconfigure services. If you want to wait a little longer with upgrading to debian 10, do the ISPConfig update now and reconfigure services. Please note that reconfiguration is always needed after updating your OS.
