Hello, this is my first post in this forum. I really apreciate the work you a re doing here. I am a newbie in servers so please take your time with me.

I have installed Debian on my server using this tutorial http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-debian-lenny-ispconfig3-p5

I have managed to set up my site, I didn't manage to workaround dns so I made a free account on freedns.afraid.org.
My subdomains look like this :

    cigames.ro [ add ]
    cigames.ro (G) MX 10:server1.cigames.ro
    forum.cigames.ro (G) A 79.118.190.149
    ftp.cigames.ro (G) A 79.118.190.149
    irc.cigames.ro (G) A 79.118.190.149
    mail.cigames.ro (G) A 79.118.190.149
    www.cigames.ro (G) A 79.118.190.149

I can send mail using mozilla thunderbird, but I can't receive .
I can't send or receive using squirrelMail.

    Here are my logs

As I see it, there's no MX record for your domain:
    Code:
    mh1:~# dig mx cigames.ro

    ; <<>> DiG 9.3.4 <<>> mx cigames.ro
    ;; global options: printcmd
    ;; Got answer:

Could you please tell me how to create that?

You must create it on the afraid.org DNS servers.

The fun part is that I work at rds-rcs :)

They block port 25, I know that but I have set up the smtp from them.

    smtp.rdslink.ro

Let me give some examples to make myself clear:

    Mozilla thunderbird

[email protected] to [email protected] using smtp.rdslink.ro not working. It says that the email has been sent, but it stopes somewere...

[email protected] to [email protected], [email protected] using smtp.rdslink.ro not working. It says that the email has been sent, but it stopes somewere...

[email protected] to [email protected] using smtp.rdslink.ro working
[email protected] to [email protected] using smtp.rdslink.ro working

    SquirrelMail

[email protected] to [email protected] works. The mail is shown in Inbox and thunderbird does its work to bring the mail

[email protected] to [email protected] works. The mail is shown in Inbox and thunderbird does its work to bring the mail

[email protected] to [email protected] not working It says that the email has been sent, but it stopes somewere...

But the output of "postconf -n" you said

    Code:
    postconf: fatal: /etc/postfix/main.cf, line 50: missing '=' after attribute name : ""/etc/postfix/main.cf" 75L, 3470C 1,1 T op"
Can you put all main.cf here?

What is that "/etc/postfix/main.cf" 75L, 3470C 1,1 Top" doing in your file? Some of the main.cf file is doubled ... I think you have to do a little cleaning there
