Sendmail Failed to stop

My sendmail failed to send email,
when i was updating the time

i just follow this steps. but still i cannot send.

I mean to say that which server you are using?
when was it mend & which tutorial you have used to mend the server?

When you provides more details then it becomes easy for us to diagnose.

my server is fedora , sendmail as mail server.

this code is suggested in another forum , to change time

See to change the timestamp settings you can use either for senmail.cf as

OR

sendmail.mc as

If you will change both the files then sendmail will create problem. But I do prefer for the change of sendmail.mc only.

So if you have changed both files then please restore the defaults for time-zone in either one then try to restart the service of sendmail
