Sendmail not delivering the e-mail in evolution

Dear Experts,


I have configured sendmail for my local network. The DNS server and the email server are both on the same computer. I have tried to access the mails in webmail and by mail from console. It is working very good. I am able to receive and send e-mails.

But when i configure evolution and mozila mail to send and deliver the emails as e-mail client. Then i am receiving the e-mail but not able to send the mail. This is giving the error "SMTP connection failed or refused".

Any errors in your mail log? What's the output of

netstat -tap

and

Code:

iptables -L

?

 

I have checked with: netstat -tap

It is saying that ipop3 is wait_time and there is no status or program of this process.

 

Can you post the output?
