sendmail not sending messages

Hi guys, I am currently having a problem with my sendmail. my sendmail will not send messages, and I cant seem to figure out the what the problem is. Here what comes up in the maillog when ever I try to send a message using the command line.

Did you create an email account for [email protected] on the server? If so, how exactly?

 

luis@avalonglo... was created in a server running BlueQuartz(different serve) the weird thing is that I am able to send messages to hotmail account from this server, but not to luis@avalon... they never arrive.

 

I guess this happens because the server thinks it should handle the avalonglobal.com domain, therefore mails for avalonglobal.com don't arrive at the other server.

 

ohh I see, How can I fix this?

 

ahh got it. it was a issue with /etc/mail/local-host-names. Thanks for the help.

 

Do you use ISPConfig 2?
