    Hi,
is it possible with ISPConfig3 multiserver to configure SMTP service and POP service for the same sites on different systems/servers?

Thanks in advance for any answer

you can separate web from mailserver biut separating the smtp from the pop3 server does not make sense as both have to access the same mailbox files.

If I'm not wrong, smtp service is not strictly related with the mailbox of the sender.
Since smtp service is usually a bandwidth-consuming service, my idea was to dedicate a server with high bandwidth availability to such service.
Obviously, I need the smtp server to only accept to send mail from authenticated clients.
In general I could install a standalone smtp server, but it wouldn't be connected with email accounts (username/password) created with the main ISPConfig instance.
