I follow the tutorial at http://howtoforge.com/setting_up_a_serial_console and have one question. Can I use this method connecting to Linux installed in the virtualbox (1.5.6)? Because after rebooting, the console (in virtualbox) only display 'Press any key to continue.' (Then after repoeating this lines several times, it starts up the login shell) and nothing comes through the HyperTerminal (v5.1) screen. It looks like HyperTerminal might look up the physical com1 device. How to direct it virtualbox? Or how to setup this environment in working with virtualbox? I appreciate any suggestion.
