When the system boots, GRUB does not display at all -- it just boots. There is no menu.lst file in /boot/grub. And, grub is not installed as in: Code: $ grub The program 'grub' is currently not installed. You can install it by typing: sudo apt-get install grub grub: command not found My main concern is will the system still boot if /dev/sda becomes non-operational? What happened to grub with 9.10? Thanks
OK... Somehow I missed out on Grub 2.0 as the 9.10 default. I guess I'll figure out how to get to memtest if I need it. And I'll just pull the plug on sda to see if it boots off of sdb alone....
