Services - SMTP on SLES 11

Kindly assist, I have installed a SLES 11 and deployed IBM Domino 8.0.2 server; this was installed so that I could SMTP service in DOMINO. I later realized that the service, happened to be selected during installation, already resided on the OS. How can I remove the service from SLES 11, I only want to run it within Domino. I can not load the service in Domino because it is recoginzing it existing on the system.
