Is there a HowTo for sharing a printer via LPR/LPQ from other pc's without using SAMBA ? The other pc's will be a mix of operating systems and in/out of the LAN.

I have CUPS installed and running, and when i do an "lpq" on the Fedora server it returns the printer name. pc's can attach to http://ps.abc:631/printers/ but any attempt to do an LPR or LPQ to ps.abc results in 'printer server unreachable'

The firewall and portsentry are cleared for ports 515 and 631 and nothing shows in the cups error log.

So I am stumped and am hoping there is a howto for this.
