    Hi,
Is it possible to install a DNS server and configure it as forwarder for all request except to few domain like example.com, example.org that should be sent to a specific NS server?
I mean all requests to ns with IP 10.0.0.1, while the request for example.com and example.org to server 10.0.0.2?
No matter the DNS server (Bind, Powerdns,...), the only requirement is not Windows or something to pay.
I see that powerdns recursor can do something similar but I did not achive to send the example.com and example.org to another server.
    Regards,
    L.

With Bind it would be a caching name server that is secondary server for domains example.com and example.org, that is secondary to 10.0.0.2. My "DNS and BIND" book calls this partial-secondary server.

  3. Yes, Caching DNS Server can be configured with the Bind dns package.
