I was attempting to install ISPConfig on a Debian box Ver. 3.1 32-bit system with 128MB ram, 700Mhz CPU, 3gig HD. I have a freshly installed Debian setup and went through the perfect setup guide you recommend on your website for 3.1 The install will skip stuff during the end of the setup. DB info, Host and domain info. I asked a friend to take a look at it and he says the shell script is mess up. I will admit i'm a newb when it comes to compiling and linux systems. However my friend is not, he didn't give me any details but just said it was broke. I'd like to know if this has been noticed by anyone as of yet? Thanks, Duplex [email protected]
Hello, the shell script is not broken. If you post the error messages you get, we might be able to help you.
uninstalling... Is there a simple method of uninstalling a partially failed install of this program? Or just remove certain directories? Last time it messed up I just reformatted the system and reinstalled from scratch.
To uninstall a broken ISPConfig installation: rm -rf /root/ispconfig rm -rf /home/admispconfig Then delete the install_ispconfig directory, unpack the installer again and run the setup script.
