Hello I am installing ispconfig 3 and i have kind of private server, i don't need webmail & FTP i use my own ftp and webmail, do i have to install them or it will install and work without them ? Thanks in advance for help. kadi
ISPConfig will work without them, but your FTP setup will most likely not work with ispconfig. So if you dont install pure-ftpd, your sites can not be accessed with FTP.

I never used pure-ftp before with ispconfig, i installed ispconfig 3 and setup 2 sites , dns when it comes to upload the files i looked and there was on the left side menu : Pure FTP only have one submenu which is Add new user, i did add then from here i didn't know what to do ! the ftp in other control panels will open for you to browse the files on the desktop but all it has here is add user, i tried to check everything to see if there is anything else about Ftp, nothing so how do i upload my files ? i used to use another external ftp's but i heard it doesn't work with ispconfig 3, so i am lost at this point and need some help.
