So I follow a tutorial here on HowtoForge on how to harden the Postfix and now my email are coming in very slowly ... Any thoughts on that?

    I followed this tutorial:
    http://www.howtoforge.com/hardening-postfix-for-ispconfig-3

I'm sending email normally and very fast however the receiving part is now very slow ... It was all fine before I followed the tutorial. And the reason I following it was because I was getting a lot of spam, and now that I found out about SpamAssassin I would like to undo those actions of that tutorial however I'm not sure if I'll be able to.

Thats most likely caused by the greylisting daemon. Edit main.cf and remove:

    ,check_policy_service inet:127.0.0.1:10023

from smtpd_recipient_restrictions line. Then restart postfix.

What is different if I remove that part of the line if you don't mind me asking?

This will disable greylisting. Greylisting prevents spam by delaying mail receiving.
