    Hello All,

Well I must tell you I am excited about ISPConfig! After having PLESK on my boxes for some time it feels good to be in control again!

Anyway, here is my issue. I have everything working nicely with the exception of one thing. The Web FTP Client that comes with ISPConfig is slow to load after authentication. Honestly it takes about two to three minutes to appear.

My logs show the session opening when I do a tail -f it happens almost immediatly, but the page takes a long time to load.

Other than that everything works wonderfully. Anybody got any suggestions? I really would like to turn this on to my end users!

    TIA!

    Bruce

Which distribution are you using? What's in /etc/hosts?

    Falko,

I am using Fedora Core 6 and the etc hosts file looks like this:

    127.0.0.1 localhost.localdomain localhost
    192.168.1.1 mybox.your-server.com mybox
    192.168.1.1 default-domain.com
    192.168.1.2 mybox.your-server.com mybox
    192.168.1.2 default-domain.com

The ISPConfig FTP client loads the directory tree of the site after login. If its a large site with many folders, it may take a long time. There is currently no solution for this available except that someone rewrites the webFTP client.

Yes, but these sites are small! Wow, this is a drag if true
