I have installed the Virtual Users And Domains With Postfix, Courier, MySQL And SquirrelMail system and deployed it. I can receive email but I can't send.

If I send using secure I get:
    Oct 22 11:01:53 volvo postfix/smtpd[7975]: connect from bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]
Oct 22 11:01:57 volvo postfix/smtpd[7975]: warning: SASL authentication failure: Password verification failed
Oct 22 11:01:57 volvo postfix/smtpd[7975]: warning: bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]: SASL PLAIN authentication failed: authentication failure
Oct 22 11:01:57 volvo postfix/smtpd[7975]: warning: bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: authentication failure

If I send without secure enabled I get:
    Oct 22 10:30:49 volvo postfix/smtpd[7028]: connect from bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]
Oct 22 10:30:49 volvo postfix/smtpd[7028]: warning: SASL authentication failure: Password verification failed
Oct 22 10:30:49 volvo postfix/smtpd[7028]: warning: bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]: SASL PLAIN authentication failed: authentication failure
Oct 22 10:30:49 volvo postfix/smtpd[7028]: warning: bwm.vectortransport.com[12.153.195.164]: SASL LOGIN authentication failed: authentication failure

It sends through Squirrelmail with no problems.

    HELP! please!!

If I were you, I would redo "6 Configure Saslauthd"

Make sure you change all "mail_admin" and "mail_admin_password" in the tutorial to your database user/password.

    Thanks

I just wanted to thank you marchost for your help. You were right... I had mispelled my mail_admin username in one of the files. My fat fingers bumped two letters at once and that was keeping it from working. You helped me get my head screwed on straight and fix it.

    Humbly,
    Tony
