Can anyone recommended or help me find a service to which I can send messages from my server so that they are texted to a list of phone numbers. I am looking for some kind of subscription service I guess. I have used Unialert to alert me when the server is not responding but this obviously works in the wrong direction. I'd like to set up a script on my server that tells me if there have been no orders for 2 hours by texting me that information.
If you have physical control over your server then you can user a GSM modem or phone with kannel sms gateway. If your dont ie u are running on shared hosting then you can use any of the online services i would recommend http://www.clickatell.com/
