Hello, I present my name is Mariano and I am new to this forum , really full ISPConfig my needs. But a little problem arose, the WebMail works well, send and receive emails. But to use the connection to the SMTP OutLook throws an error, and can not send e-mail . I copy the error: Create an account for you to try. Account: [email protected] Pass: removed POP: c-inteligente.com.ar SMTP: c-inteligente.com.ar Excuse my English, and thanks for your help.
Please make sure that you enabled the "Server requires authentication" checkbox in the outllok smtp settings. Ther SMTP user and password are the same then the pop3 password and user.
sirduque, I've removed your password as it will be used by spammers causing your server to be blacklisted.
Hi Till, if checked, and taste what you said. The error persists , I have another way to test if the SMTP is working OK?. The installation is by default, according to the Ubuntu Guide 10.10. And you sit. Thanks edge, I realized that I could use for that purpose .
This is what I wrote when I asked to send a mail to Outlook: Here's the log of the day April 12: Link
I'm talking about your (the client's) adsl line. Is this provider not blocking the SMTP port? This is done quite often by ISP as this is a way to stop spammers to use not approved mail servers.
