SMTP error authentication failed - Roundcube multi server setup

    Hi all,

    After an upgrade to latest ispconfig and also on Debian 12 Roundcube can't send emails anymore. It always throws an smtp error eventhough nothing changed in terms of configs from my side.

    The mail.log on the email server that is trying to send shows only:

    Aug 10 07:21:06 email1 postfix/submission/smtpd[207554]: connect from controlpanel.mydomain[10.0.0.4]
    Aug 10 07:21:06 email1 postfix/submission/smtpd[207554]: disconnect from controlpanel.mydomain[10.0.0.4] ehlo=1 quit=1 commands=2

    Any ideas how to troubleshoot that?

    I changed the setting to TLS and worked.
