Hi, Everything works fine via webmail, but I need outlook also. Must be doable, but only, if I ping smtp.mydomain.com it doesn't resolve so appearantly its not set up good. How to fix this?
Seems as if you have an issue with dns and not your smtp server. if you want to use a domain like smtp.mydomain.com as smtp server, then add a dns A-Record for "smtp" ind the dns zone "mydomain.com" that points to the IP address of your server. If you want to use a domain like imap.mydomain.com or pop.mydomain.com too, then add these as well as dns a-records to the zone.
