I have 2 debian etch boxes. If i run "snmpwalk -v 1 -c public localhost system" i am getting response this is my snmp server However if I run "snmpwalk -v 1 -c public 192.168.1.36 system" on my other debian etch box from my snmp server, with 192.168.1.36 the IP address of my snmp client, i get: Timeout: No Response from 192.168.1.36 snmpd is up and running, I can ping both ways, there are no firewalls in place. What could be wrong? What packages i need to install for my snmp client in debian etch box. I am really looking for falko help here please help me? Thanks for your kind help
