Hi, first my ssh connection was dropping/freezing when copying a large number of files. After ubuntu 14.04.5 reinstall (the install froze on remove install media), I've was getting "task systemd-udevd blocked for more than 120 seconds, Not tainted 4.4.0-31-generic #50 14.04.1-Ubuntu" and could not reboot or power off. Then I formatted the disk and booted Ubuntu live desktop form USB. After that I run badblocks -svw and it froze on "Testing with pattern 0xff on 42.66%" the tests before completed. Does this mean that the disk is dead or can be something else?
