    Hello
So I've been trying to figure out how to get the junk folder to sync to a device so I don't have to log into the webmail frontend to look through there. Does such a setting even exist?

Just connect to the mail server with IMAP and not POP3 protocol. If your mail client is connected with IMAP, you can see the Junk folder like any other IMAP folder in your mail client.

I guess that's a kind of solution, but by using IMAP, I then have the issue of storing messages locally, while removing them from the server in order to max out mailbox quotas. What workaround would you suggest to counter that.

If you want to have a synced spam folder, then you must use IMAP. There is no other solution for mail servers, as pop3 can not keep folders in sync. If you want to empty your inbox automatically, then you can e.g. use a filter rule in your local mail client to move emails into a local folder or you move them manually by drag & drop to a local folder after you read the message.
