Are there any side effects on ISpconfig of updating the mysql root's password, i.e. that some setting in ISPconfig or PhpMyAdmin that needs to be updated too.

The thing is that I had forgotten the password to the MySQL root user so I updated it (stopped the process, started it again with an inifile in which the password was updated, then restarted the mysqld process) and now I can't create any databases anymore from within ISPconfig3)

    Thanks!

You have to set the new password in /usr/local/ispconfig/server/lib/mysql_clientdb.conf
