Hello! Dear ALL, installed ISPCONFIG ISPConfig 2.2.14 on CentOS 5 ( Final ) BIND is not staring... I thought, that it can be porblem of nonexistance of file /etc/named.conf, so I made ln -s /var/named/chroot/etc/named.conf /etc/named.conf but still has this problem : [root@XXXX ~]# /etc/init.d/named start Starting named: Error in named configuration: /etc/named.conf:3: change directory to '/home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/multidoc/edit' failed: file not found /etc/named.conf:3: parsing failed Any idea how-to fight with that? Vbrgs!
The permissions of your bind config file directory are wrong. Please install bind as described here: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_centos5.0_p4
