Under [Email --> Spam Filter --> Whitelist], I have a rule stated: User: @domain.com Email: [email protected] Priority: 2 Active: Check Emails from [email protected] are still coming in with "*** SPAM ***" in the subject line. == Under [Email --> Spam Filter --> User/Domain], I have a rule stated: Server: ispconfigserver Priority: 5 Policy: Wants all spam Email Pattern: @domain.com Name: @domain.com Local: Yes Is it possible for whiltelisted emails not to get TAG in the subject line?
I am still struggling with this. Any ideas? I also tried putting the address in the Postfix whitelist and still no luck... Emails are still getting tagged as spam.
I found what the issue was... The spam filter looks at the envelope from field and not the actual from field. This is not technically an ISPConfig problem but more of a limitation of the spam filter part of it. It be nice for the spam filter to look at either the From: or the envelope from field. Many companies like "Sweet Tomatoes" will send emails with a different envelope from field than the actual From: field you see in the email.
