I am using ISPConfig 3.0.5.3 on Debian Wheezy and the standard built in spam filtering seems to work fine for most users. However I have a few users where it seems not to function at all. No spam ever gets put in their junk box as specified in the control panel settings. Where would I check manually to ensure the spam filtering is turned on either by user or as a whole? In the database or a config file. Also, if I want to just reset the whole spam filtering set up back to original settings, remove the service and all of its config files then reinstall, what steps should I take? Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions.
In the database, see spamfilter_users table. I wont do that if it would be my server. The chance that you mess up your system is quite big.
In the dbispconfig database, is there any relation between table spamfilter_users - column id table mail_user - column mailuser_id I would think that those 2 numbers would be the same, but even on creating new users, they are not. I'm beginning to think the issue started when I switched from courier to dovecot many months ago. There are only 34 mail users on this system total so that is why I have not had too many complaints.
These two tables are not related and the mail_user tabel is not involved in spamfiltering at all. he spamfilter is configured with spamfilter_users and the spamfilter policy.
