I got a message returned to my catch all email today that was a spam message. I was hoping someone could tell me if my server sent this out. Like maybe i have a virus or maybe its jsut spam they are sending me. I have ubuntu, lts 6.06, with the virus scanner installed that ispconfig uses. I just want to know if i have to worry that my machine is sending this out or if its just spammers annoying me. here is the message Code: This is the Postfix program at host blizzard.fastxs.net. None of the ips listed are mine. I am using google apps for my email server now, but previosly i was using ispconfig (as of only a couple days ago).
It is very unlikely that your server has send this msaage, as none of your IP's are lsited spammers normally dont use a local sender addresses for their spam. You should disable your catchall function if you dont want to get more of these messages.
