Spamassassin training with email clients?

    Hi all,

I have a question concerning "training" spamassassin with my postfix IMAPS/IMAP server.

I am using 3 different email clients: thunderbird/gnupgp on desktop, squirrelmail webmail, k9/agp on android.

I am wondering: is the thunderbird junk folder training spamassassin? What about the junk folder on squirrelmail? And K9 has a spam folder, is it training spamassassin when I throw email into that spam folder?

What is the best way to train spamassassin through email clients?

    THanks

if your server uses amavisd, then spamassassin is trained automatically from amavisd. If you want tomanually train it based on the junk imap folders, then you will have to create a script that ffeds the emaisl with sa-learn into the spamassassin database.
