hi all. has anyone ever thought of running spamc & spamd together to achieve the same task the spamassassin itself does? i don't have exact figures at the moment on how much the speed boost is to analyze an email but you can see it yourself. start /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/tools/spamassassin/usr/bin/spamd with -d option to send it to background and use spamc instead of spamassassin to inspect a message. for me it takes significantly less time to do it than in the original case. shall i ask why this isn't the default setup and why developers prefered the other way? thanks, frank
falko, thx for your reply. i understand your point, although i'm tweaking my config at my own risk. frank
