Hi, This is a new installation following the perfect server guide for Ubuntu 12.04LTS (Apache). The installation went pretty well. I can add a email domain and a new email mailbox. I can log in to the squirrelmail webmail using the new email address and password and there is an email From: ISPConfig - Welcome to your new email account. So I tried to send a test email from squirrelmail webmail to my gmail address and the browser after waiting for a while says at the top of the compose screen "ERROR: Message not sent. Thats not a squirrelmail issue, the postfix is not workinga nd so you can not use squirrelmail as well. Seems as if the ssl certificate from postfix is broken, so it is not able to start.

How do I replace broken ssl certificate and key? Is this an ISPConfig configuration help forum to help people get ISPConfig up and running? .. or is it just a 'help forum' where you sit around waiting to see if anyone can figure out how to get ISPConfig working? I followed the supposedly "perfect server" install line by line without fault. made the relevant linode.com adjustments. If you don't know how to fix a broken ISPConfig setup Falko... then don't reply. 1) I'am not falko. 2) I've just written most of ispconfig and developed the original setup that you know as "perfect setup" guide from falko now, so I dont know how it works off course As you are not willing to provide the information that is relevatnt to fix your config issue, then neither I nor falko can help you.

There is a small mistale in the file. Remove the # in front of the lines: #submission inet n - - - - smtpd and #smtps inet n - - - - smtpd and restart postfix. Thanks Till... the email and squirrelmail works. I logged into squirrelmail with the email account created in ISPConfig ... sent a test email to my gmail address successfully, and then replied from my gmail and received the reply in the squirrelmail inbox. I am just using Linode's DNS manager for 2 domains and 2 subdomains and they are working.
