    Is openssh-server installed on the server?
    Code:
    sudo aptitude install openssh-server
    Is it listening?
    Code:
    sudo netstat -tap | grep sshd
    tcp6       0      0 [::]:ssh                [::]:*                  LISTEN      1114/sshd
