Hi All, I am using Debian 6 + ISPConfig 3. I am trying to install a GoDaddy SSL certificate. To do so I am trying with ISPConfig only (not using SSH). I am following the ISPConfig manual which I have purchased. The issue is with the Bundle Certificate. GoDaddy has several versions: GoDaddy Bundles And the ones I have installed (I mean downloaded, opened, copy/paste in ISPConfig) do not work. Some browsers warn the user "this certificate is not trusted". Which file should I install from the GoDaddy bundles ? Thanks
It depends on the certzificate provider that you selected at godaddy. E.g. if its a godaddy cert or starfield cert etc. if its a goddady cert, then use https://certs.godaddy.com/anonymous...ry.xhtml:repository.streamFile('')&cid=152564
Thanks. I am using GoDaddy (and not Starfield). I have tried with several of the GoDaddy bundles but it's not working on FF (Chrome seems ok). Also, it does not work with a Validation tool: SSL Check As you can see with the SSL check it says that the Chain is incomplete
Did you use the one that I linked above? I used that severak times already in the past years and it worked. If it does not work anymore, you should ask godaddy which chain / bundle certificate you shall use for a apache 2 webserver for your cert.
Thanks Till, Yes, I have tried with the Bundle you mentioned and it does not work with FF. To be noted: my certificate is coded in SHA2
hen you should contact godaddy and ask them which certificate and bundle to use for apache 2 webserver. this is not ispconfig specific btw.
