    Hi,

I' ve re-installed my ISPConfig setup and obviously did something wrong.
I would love to fix it but don' t want to take any chances, so I' d rather
ask than making things worse !

I' ve bought myself a nice SSL certificate to secure connections to the
config panel and the webmail, so far so good. But when I try to connect
to the mailuser login, I get an error message ...

    Server is www.example.com
SSL certificate is bought on that name
Control panel login and webmail work fine

I get an error message saying that web1.example.com uses a self signed
certificate. How come I only get this when trying to access the mailuser
login and not when connecting to the control panel or the webmail ?

All should be on www.example.com, not web1.example.com I suppose ?
How can I fix this ?

Where did you install your cert? The certificates for the ISPConfig control panel on port 81 are in /root/ispconfig/httpd/......

Here' s where I put the certificate.
It worked fine on my previous setup
but then I only used www as hostname.
Guess this time I put web1 as hostname
    at some point ?

    /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/ssl.csr
    /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/ssl.crt

You might have to put the key file there too. Also have a look in the httpd.conf file in these directories and replace web1 with www.
