    Hi guys,

I have been trying to setup a godaddy signed certificate to remove that annoying and unprofessional "this site is not trusted" when accessing my Roundcube mail. I use Debian 6 and ISPConfig 3, I have purchased the book on ISPConfig 3 as well.

My issue now is that when I went to sites, ssl... I didn't have a generated CSR so I decided to delete whatever was there and create a new one. Well that failed. Now apache won't start.

Every time I try it says:

    root@mail:~# /etc/init.d/apache2 start
Starting web server: apache2Action 'start' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.
    failed!

Please can someone help me out...

    Thanks in advance
    steve

    Fixed it...

Had to go into /etc/apache2/sites-available/example.com.vhost and hash out everything to do with ssl

I had problems with the certificate not matching the hostname
