After creating of new site without ssl option ticked I would like to add that option and create certificate for this site. When I tick the ssl option for already created site I will get this message An SSL certificate does already exist for this IP. The ticked option will not apear on the tab and SSL tab will not apear neither. Can someone advise?
You can only have one SSL web site per IP address. It's a limitation of the https protocol. I guess you already have an SSL web site on your IP address?
Yes, I had SSL box ticked in other site. I removed it and I can assign SSL to other site. Is there any way how to overcome this? If this is webhosting system I would like to provide to my clients the posibility that they can load their own certificates. I dont know very much in this area and I would apreciate a little help how sort this out or some info how this work. As far as I know other webhosting companies also provide to its clients these facilities or not? Thank you for your help.
Configure your network card for this IP, then add the IP in ISPConfig under management > server > settings. When you create a new website, you will be able to select the new IP.
