hi guys I was hoping one of you greats could put a howto together on how to build a good open source up to date instant messenger server. I found one with centOS and openfire but its a few yrs old and also the guide expects you to install the perfect centOS server including ispconfig 3. I was hoping we could get a guide on just how to build an IM server.. if i have overlooked a guide while searching the forum and there is already a guide of this sorts posted on howtoforge, i apologize and would be greatful if i could get the link.. many thanks huss
