    Good afternoon,

During startup, one of my Debian boxes will hang at "Starting MTA...". I have left it there for 30 minutes and it still fails to proceed. I've restarted (ctrl-alt-delete) many a time and it still hangs at that point. Any suggestions?

    (I'm running Lenny)

Another oddity. During restart I noticed that my Grub boot menu is down to one options vs. the 5 options I had previously.

    Thank you,

    Stig.

The mta failing to start up is usually due to failure in name resolution.
