I have found a solution with Drupal where you add some line to the .htaccess file to allow it to be visited. I am not able to get this working with wordpress. I have searched the forum and the web, but I can't find anything that allows me to access the folder. The wordpress installation is picking up the folder, and it is redirecting it to a 404 page. The folder is there, and the password has been set in the control panel. Thanks for the help in advance.
The wordpress .htaccess file is only redirecting to 404 if no file or folder exists. I use wordpress on several websites with ispconfig 3 and I can access the stats folder in all of them. Have you modified the ispconfig vhost or wordpress .htaccess file in any way?
No. I haven't changed anything with the vhost. It must just be my server. I will dig around some more.
