Sub domain, ISPConfig 3

    Hello

    One of the sites on my ISPConfig 3 server will only be a sub domian.
    *.domain.com is hosted on another server.
    sub.domain.com will be hosted on this ISPConfig server.

    How would I set this up?

    Point your subdomain A record to ISPConfig server, than click on Add New Website in ispconfig. In domain field type the subdomain.domain.com and choose none in Auto-Subdomain. That's it.

    i have exactly your setup me too,
    and doing as said by damir worked perfectly.
    i also added in the external dns an MX record for the sub.domain.com who points to ispconfig server
    in order to manage mails sent to:
    [email protected]

    ( i have different subdomains hosted in ispconfig server, for each i have related website and mail)
