Everytime I built a new test site I simply added a subdomain under under site "subdomain.Mydomain.com" . All worked great without even adding a DNS record or other. It just worked. Now my subdomains redirect to from subdomain.MyDomain.com to Mydomain.com How to I make my subdomains work again?
This can have various reason: 1) Mix of IP and * in the IPv4 field. 2) SSL enabled on the main site but not on the subdomains. 3) Any kind of redirects are set or you copied a cms system from main domain to a subdomain without changing all redirects and url settings in the cms. e.g. required for WordPress.
1) Under auto-Subdomain I have an * 2) SSL is enabled 3) Yes Wordpress ..... I do not see any redirects the subdomains appear to be correct. Wordpress Address(URL) and Site Address(URL) under Settings appears to be correct Currently sub.MyDomain.com will simply Redirect to Mydomain.com but sub.Mydomain.com/wp-admin will route properly
If you create separate websites for subdomains in ISPConfig, then auto-subdomain must be set to none for the main site, otherwise all requests must go to the main site as you told apache that * (which means all subdomain traffic) shall end up in this site.
