    Hello,
I tried to create a subdomain but when I tried to access via http it des not work.

    Ispconfig
1 - inside my subdomain manu I created the subdomain with redirect type : L and the directory /mydirectory/
2 - inside the domain I created a directory with myssubdomain
3 - inside ispconfig in DNS section inside my domain I added a A with my IP server address

    OVH
Inside OVH dns I created A with the subdomain inside my domain
the dns are propagated abouu the subdomain
Test the dns propagation ==> it's ok.

As OVH vps server I tried to create a secondary dns but it does not work ==> Not sur I must to do that.
First we need to verify you are the owner of this domain. To do so, please add a TXT field on your DNS zone for the domain skillsmatrix.clicshopping.com, with the subdomain 'ownercheck' and the following value: 'xxxxx'. Once done and your zone reloaded, try again (you don't need to wait for DNS propagation).

Do I forget something inside this process ?

    thank you

If OVH is your DNS provider, then do not use the DNS options in ISPConfig as well - this does not do anything.

I suppose this is a error message you get with OVH? Where?

inside my domain.com I have an owner.
Do I need to add mysub.domain.com an owner inside the domain.com dns ?

I added inside DNS a new owner about the sbudomain owner and declare the inside the vps the sub domain but the redirection is always on my domain not on the subdomain . Any idea ?

Are you doing all DNS settigns at OVH panel? And you are doing nothing DNS settings at ISPConfig Panel?
I got lost at your explanation, maybe show screenshot of ISPConfig panel where you set up subdomain or explain better what it is you try to achieve.

1 + 2) You seem to want to have a subdomain that points to its own directory. In this case, you just create a new website and enter "sub.domain.tld' in the domain field. Adding a subdomain as you did is only used when you use a multidomain cms that splits content based on domain name dynamically, like e.g. typo3 is doing it.
    3) If I understand you correctly, you are using the OVH name servers for this domain and manage it at OVH. In this case, do not add a DNS zone in ISPConfig at all as your ISPConfig system is not the authoritative name server then and there should be no DNS zone for this domain in ISPConfig.

I tried this to created a new website with this domain : mysubdomain.domain.com

On OVH inisde my dns zone I added :
    ownercheck.mysubdomain.com. 0 TXT "xxxxxxx"
    mysubdomain.domain.com. 0 A xx.xxx.xx.x (==> vps ip)

and insidemy vps a secondary dns
    mysubdomain.domain.com 91.134.91.2 11 janvier 2024 sdnsX.ovh.net

Honnestly I am little lost. If someone can give the process step by step it will be great.

You should ask on OVH forum how to use the OVH system.
My signature has link to dns setup tutorial, maybe reading it helps understand what needs to be done.
If your new domain is mysubdomain.domain.com, should the ownercheck be ownercheck.domain.com or ownercheck.mysubdomain.domain.com, instead of ownercheck.mysubdomain.com.
