i have the domain test.com working fine with ISPConfig, but need to add sub1.test.com as a separate site (i.e. different virtual directory) How would i do this with ispconfig? I guess i would add a new site, but not add any DNS records, then update the dns records for test.com, but i don't know which record(s) to add.. Help!
Create a new site with hostname "test1" and domain "test.com" and check the create DNS checkbox, if your server is authoritive for the domain in DNS.
Hmmm, Thanks Till, as ever. I'm beginning to think that you don't do anything else but answer questions on this board. Do you ever sleep? However, now it forwards me to the shared IP page.
Does your new subdomain point to the correct IP address? What's in Vhosts_ispconfig.conf, and what's the output of Code: ifconfig ?
