While my companies main website was hosted at GoDaddy, I created 2 sites on my ISPconfig3 owncloud.mydomain.com support.mydomain.com These are each configured as TLD on ISPconfig3. Now I would like to host the entire TLD and make owncloud.mydomain.com and support.mydomain.com sub-domains of mydomain.com Is this possible? Thanks, -John
I'm assuming you want to keep the existing websites at owncloud.mydomain.com and support.mydomain.com? If so, you simply add a new website for mydomain.com, and you're done. Well, maybe you need to setup DNS or something, but no changes would be made the the existing websites in that case.
I tried that, but ISPconfig seems to get the host headers confused. People browsing to mydomain.com or www.mydomain.com inevitably end up with owncloud.vmsources.com Also, there's SSL involved for all three - using the same UCC SSL - yes I set each site to a different IP address.
Check that you did not set auto subdomain * at any of the other sites. Then you should check DNS and the selected IP's in the sites again as the owncloud site can not show up when it's on a different IP.
Ok, thanks! SO if I do not auto-subdomain mydomain.com, will https://mydomain.com and https://www.mydomain.com both work?
