My setup has two subdomains (both need www. in the url) but when accessing any of them just see main domain content. Each subdomain has a folder into main domain hierarchy and that leads to ask if that scenario is possible, is it? Also, attemps to access any subdomain is logged in 'other_vhosts_access.log'. Shouldn't they be logged into specific subdomain log file?
Thats possible by adding the subdomains as vhost subdomain. But if a subdomain shall have its wn folder, you should better add it as new website by putting sub.domain.tld in the domain field. This will separate the subdomain from the main website and is much more secure then using a vhost subdomain.
