Hi, I just created a subdomain as vhost in ispconfig (I need this subdomain in own directory) but I got always the home page from the main domain. I did: 1- New domain sub.example.com 2- Whole new web site for that subdomain sub.example.com 3- A record for sub in dns ispconfig 3.0.3.3 Any idea please? I need subdomain as vhost, normal redirection don't work with joomla, wordpress etc etc etc.. Cheers
Eirher the config was not written at the time you tested it /(see jobqueue in ispconfig monitor) or you mixed * and IP addresses in the website settings on your server. Either all websites have to use * or all sites have to us ethe IP address, but dont mix that. You should also check the DNS record if it points to the right IP address.
